We have many adult ministry groups to serve a variety of interests:

Food and Fellowship Groups -  Meets once monthly for a meal and fellowship. The groups are small and meet four months in a row, then those wishing to continue are reassigned to new groups in order to meet new people.  Contact:  Margaret Sullivan

Mariners — The Mariners are a senior adult group which meets about four times a year. Topics will vary with emphasis on current issues facing today’s 55+ senior adult population. The focus is mainly on fellowship and enrichment. Meetings, trips, and activities generally occur in the Spring. Contact: Reba Anderson or the church office.

Presbyterian Women — Presbyterian Women meet the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, for study and fellowship. The daytime Circles, #1 through #5, begin their individual studies at 10:15 a.m. in various rooms within the church building. At 11:45, the Circles adjourn for lunch and a program in the Fellowship Hall. Contact: Jean Frazier

The Star Circle
meets on Wednesday evenings, in conjunction with the Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinner and Programs. The group will share a meal at 5:30 with family and friends, and then begin its study during the program hour of the evening, 6:30-7:30, in the Fireside Library Room.  Star Circle also has a summer study on Wednesday evenings beginning at 6pm.

Senior Singles at Second (Stay Young)(S.A.S.S.Y) — Senior single adults from all walks of life will find Senior Singles @ Second to be a fun and encouraging group, always open to new friends. A variety of yearly activities are planned including activities in town or “on the road”. Contact: Ed Sternberg, 523-2189

Prayer Shawl Knitting Group Each month we meet to knit shawls, fellowship and pray for those who are sick or in need of comfort. Once the shawls are completed, they are delivered to members who are homebound or ill. A prayer is attached to each one of these beautiful shawls.
We invite you to come join us. Even if you do not know how to knit, please come for a lesson — we have ladies willing to teach beginners. This is a wonderfully spiritual way to fellowship and minister to those in need. Please join us. Contact Rachel Hallam or church office for dates/times. (also listed on event calendar).
