Bryan Wilson

Senior Pastor

Bryan Wilson started at Second Presbyterian Church in April 2009. Before arriving in Knoxville, he  served his home church, Grace Prebyterian in Houston, Texas, for seven years, first as Associate Pastor for Single Adults and most recently as Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Outreach.

Bryan was born and raised in Houston, where his brother and parents still reside. He has an adventurous spirit and is a sports — and sports radio — junkie. He enjoys golf, basketball, football, winter sports, running marathons, fly fishing, and outdoor adventures. He also enjoys traveling, and has participated in domestic and international mission trips. Bryan visited Israel with a group of Princeton alumni in 2000. He has been recognized for his community outreach by the mayor of Houston, and the Houston Independent School District. Bryan is energized by mission and people and is buoyed by optimism and the love of Christ.

Since arriving at Second, the church has undergone a major renewal and revival with a renewed emphasis on children, youth, college students and adult discipleship.  Bryan completed in December 2011 his Doctorate from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando, FL) writing on the subject of faith and work in the marketplace.

Bryan and his wife Stacey have been married for 19 years and have a son, Kaleb who is eight years old.
