Meet the Reynolds Family
Tuesday grew up in Blountville, TN. She attended ETSU for a time before embarking on a career in entertainment. She performed for our troops in Asia and the Pacific on a Department of Defense tour and sang on the Grand Ole Opry in 1993! In the 1990s she went back to school and graduated from Cumberland College in Lebanon, TN with a degree in Special Education. For the last 18 years she has worked with special needs students of all types, from autism to the severely and profoundly disabled. Her dream is to one day work in or start a halfway home for special needs adults who cannot live on their own but who can function and work in society. Recently Tuesday has returned to performing in community theater productions, playing The Leading Player in Pippin, Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz, and Dottie in Noises Off.
Seth was born in Decatur, GA while they were in their last year of seminary. He will be a sophomore at Bearden High and will be a member of the Bearden Band. Seth has played soccer his entire life and has played for Abingdon High the last two years. He hopes to make the Bearden team. Like most teenage boys he loves playing video games. He likes science fiction and adventure movies and books. He also likes to act and has been in Barter Youth Academy productions and Theatre Bristol Productions. He even joined his dad on stage in Jonesborough Repertory Theater's production of Singing in the Rain. Tim played the role of Don Lockwood and Seth was (appropriately) the young version of Don Lockwood. Seth runs the sound board at his current church once a month and hopes to be able to do the same thing at Second.
Lily Grace was born in 2004 and became part of the Reynolds family when she was two months old. Lily has just recently completed elementary school and will be a 6th grade r at West Valley Middle School. Lily has played soccer since she was four and has also taken gymnastics for several years. She hopes to find a good gymnastics place in Knoxville. Lily loves to play teacher (she's been doing it since she was 4!) and wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She loves theater, as well, both onstage and backstage. She made her stage debut as the head of the Lullaby League in the same production of Wizard her mom was in, and she served on the stage crew of two different productions at Jonesboro Repertory Theatre. Lily also loves to cook, especially cupcakes and cakes. She experiments with her own recipes, her most recent being a custom Lime Zest cake for her dad's birthday! Lily is a social butterfly and her life is all about her friends, so she looks forward to making some new friends in Knoxville and at Second. She serves as an acolyte at her current church and assists with Children's Worship, and is looking forward to serving in some way at her new congregation.
