Ways to Serve
God is calling the worshippers at Second Presbyterian to go “off the Hill and into the City.”
Though our building sits on a hill, we seek to dispel the notion that life in Christ takes us out of our communities and replace it with a revitalized understanding of our mission in this city and beyond. God calls us to work and witness in our community by rolling up our sleeves and getting involved with the good works happening all over our community.
The New 2 is what we’re calling this missional mindset. From mission trips to Nicaragua to building Habitat Houses, we strive to live out this call. Listed to the right are just a few of ways in which our members give their time and resources.
