Marta P. Villalta | Media Coordinator
Marta is a native of Costa Rica. She came to the United States to pursue her college education. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Communications from Calvin University, Marta moved to Los Angeles to start her professional career. Marta worked as a Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator for more than eight years for a non-profit organization and recently served as an assistant to The Bishop of The United Methodist Church for the Los Angeles Area.
Marta and her family moved to Knoxville in 2020 to be close to her sister. Marta is married to Ernie and together they have two beautiful girls, Olivia (4) and Victoria (3). She is also a stepmom to Emily (22) who is a student at UTK and Ernie Jr. (20) who joined the Airforce after graduating from High School and is currently overseas.
In addition to her role at our church, she is a full-time teacher at Cedar Springs Weekday School, where her daughters attend.
