Worship means to “give worth to something or someone”
So in a broad sense, we worship everyday, everywhere, and sometimes, everything or everybody. We were created to worship. Worship forms and transforms us. We become who and what we worship. Worship is at the heart of who we are as people, and it is at the heart of who we are as a community of people here at Second.
Jesus Christ is the focus of our worship. He is the center of everything we do and everything we are seeking to become. As “the way, the truth and the life”, Jesus Christ forms and transforms us into being his hands and his feet. He fuels us to love as he loves, and to serve as he serves.
The weekly worship service is at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. It has a traditional style, honoring the historic traditions of the Christian faith.
