John Quillen’s father passed away on June 25th. Please keep John and his family in your prayers.

Jim Robertson (Daniel Robertson’s father) is recovering from abdominal surgery at Park West Hospital and is in the step down unit. He will be in the hospital for another 2-3 weeks and then will go to a rehab facility after that for another 2-3 weeks.

Geoff Duggan has been diagnosed with a neurological condition, possibly ALS, possibly something else. He is seeking a second medical opinion and working with doctors to determine exactly what it is and the best course of treatment.

Joan Riedl is at Oakwood Assisted Living (#108) in north Knoxville. She is under hospice care and would love visitors.

Sue Jacox is going through an intense round of testing this month hoping to find answers for moving forward. Her daily fevers have subsided but she still deals with daily pain and lack of energy from long covid.

Mark Jenkins has recently been diagnosed with ALS. He is working with doctors at the ALS Institute at UT Hospital to help slow the progression of the disease.

Mancil Milligan is at home (Shannondale). His knee pain has decreased since getting some injections. He has recovered fully from the stroke but is still dealing with some heart issues. Mancil welcomes visitors.

Janet Chadwick (Liz Peebles’ sister) was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor, an aggressive cancer tumor. She has finished the first round of chemo/radiation. Her MRI showed no further growth, which is encouraging. Liz thanks everyone for their prayers and asks that we continue to pray for her strength and wisdom with next steps. She says it is a comfort knowing we are praying for her.

Bill Roach, Jr. is the grandson of Leslie Testerman. He is currently undergoing treatment for Leukemia at MD Anderson. Please keep Bill and his family in your prayers.

Donna Downen has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and is on hospice care at The Waters of Maryville (formerly Asbury Place). She does not wish to have visitors or phone calls at this time but very much appreciates prayers.

Arlys Milligan is at Little Creek Nursing Care and welcomes visitors.

Please continue to reach out to these folks via phone calls and/or cards.
They appreciate knowing the congregation is praying for them.
